Why Spediverse Exists

Spediverse was created to support families navigating special education, especially in the moments where things feel confusing, overwhelming, or unclear.

We believe the biggest challenges don’t come from one person doing something wrong, but from the gaps between people, systems, and expectations.

Our work is focused on helping those pieces come back into alignment so families can move forward with clarity and confidence.

How This Work Began

Hi, I’m Jackie.

I’ve spent years sitting in the middle of these

conversationsfrom every side of the table.

I’ve spent my career working in special education, as a teacher, a coach, and a leader supporting teachers and systems like assistive technology and assessments.

Through that work, I saw how much effort goes into supporting students and how often families are still left trying to piece everything together on their own.

I started Spediverse to change that.

By helping parents understand what’s happening and feel confident in what to do next, while also supporting educators in making space for parents as true partners in the process,

we are more aligned and things work better for kids.

What makes Spediverse different...

We don’t approach special education as a problem to fight.

We approach it as a system to understand.

Our goal is to help you:

• see what matters most
• understand how the pieces fit together
• make confident decisions about what to do next

Because when you feel clear and confident, it changes what’s possible for your child.

In addition to supporting families, we also work directly with schools and districts through our work at Miyahara & Associates.

That work gives us a full view of how special education systems operate from both inside and outside the school.

Spediverse is where we bring that experience directly to you as a parent.

If you’re navigating an IEP meeting or trying to make sense of what’s next, you’re in the right place.
